Best “A” - Excellent) GradGuard Tuition Insurance is a group policy with College Parents of America that refunds the cost of tuition, academic fees, room, board and other legitimate education expenses if a full-time student withdraws from school for medical reasons*
Tuition Insurance coverage is triggered when a student is forced to withdraw from school as a result of medical disability, illness, or loss of life as a result thereof. Specifically:
- 100% of covered fees due to Medical "disability" withdrawal
- 100% of covered fees due to the Death of a "tuition payer"
- 100% of covered fees due to the Death of a student
- 100% of covered fees due to Medical "disability" withdrawal due to emotional, nervous or mental disorders
- 0% of covered fees due to Voluntary Withdrawal

Qualifications
This is a guaranteed issue product and written on group policy for College Parents of America, so there are no medical questions to answer. Full-time students at accredited college and universities qualify. Parents must be active members of College Parents of America to be eligible, which occurs when membership is purchased as an added benefit to GradGuard Tuition Insurance.
Cost
The cost of GradGuard Tuition Insurance ranges from $239 to $599 per year, depending on the benefit level you choose. The GradGuard Student Protection Plan and Premium Membership in College Parents of America are included in all Tuition Insurance plans.
